Right — been on this thing for about four months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I'd say something since a lad on another thread asked me last week. I'm in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, for context.
How I found it was honestly pretty stupid — I could never get my head round what an e/w return actually came to when the place terms changed. Basically I'd guess and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in before every slip, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator is the one I'm on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and it shows returns instantly, either odds format. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, and that's where I always mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it's here ew lucky 15 calculator and there's no login wall, which I appreciated.
One thing that actually shifted things for me was the nerdier extras. The odds-to-probability thing which shows you what margin's baked in, and there's the kelly tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is handy too for when I'm covering two or three runners.
Couple of gripes. The layout is pretty plain — not much flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it's usable although the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. Also there's nothing on the app store, it's browser only — doesn't bother me just flagging it.
So yeah. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. Anyone who even now works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saves me a load of "wait, that's it?" moments.
